Shipping and Returns
Our products may have a lead time of 1-3 weeks due to Studio Photo being the sole importer of these goods. Items that are not in stock will be ordered from the overseas supplier and then sent locally upon arrival. This is a temporary delay that will disappear when stock levels and sales increase. We appreciate your patience, and we know you appreciate our low prices. We recommend that if you do not wish to wait 1-3 weeks for your goods to arrive (if ordered out of stock items), you should find another supplier that can ship the goods more quickly.
Light stands can be very long and heavy to send. Australia Post won't send them so they have to be sent by courier. These will increase the freight cost considerably.
Goods will be sent via courier or Australia Post and will usually require signature on arrival. Should you not be home when they arrive, they will not be left at your premises. You will then need to call to arrange delivery. Fees may apply in this case. Studio Photo is not responsible for any extra charges.
Goods are packaged by the manufacturer and should arrive safely. If goods should arrive with a damaged carton please notify us immediately.
You are responsible for all freight charges. This site has a shipping calculator that will calculate rates for Australia only. If you are not receiving the goods in Australia, please contact us for a quote on shipping. When ordering using the automatic shopping cart system, it may calculate the freight charge incorrectly. We reserve the right to cancel the order or invoice the correct amount in the event of an error of the automatic calculated freight.
Our goods have a back to base warranty. Should an item fail, it will need to be returned to us at the purchaser's expense. We do not cover the cost of freight to send items back to us. We will cover the cost of sending the new or repaired item back to you in Australia only. International customers will be liable for all freight charges for warranty purposes when ordering from outside of Australia.
Warranty on our goods is as follows:
Bulbs, Bags, Stands, Beauty Discs and Flash Tubes: No Warranty, only DOA returns
Barn Doors, Snoots and Reflectors: One Month
Soft Boxes: One Month
Flashes: Twelve Months or 5000 shots
Halogen Lights: One Month
Fluro Lights: One Month
We will repair or replace all items with one month warranty. We will repair all items that carry a twelve month warranty.
The customer understands that by submitting an order, they are purchasing imported goods at lower-than wholesale prices and warranty coverage is limited. If the customer wishes extended warranty coverage it can be arranged at additional cost. The goods on this site are to be considered sold 'as -is' and without customer support.
